The meeting with this land It has been for us a source of inspiration and great motivation

Montenero’s wines want to enhance the territory and the autochthonous vine varieties

The majority of our grapes belongs to this varietal that we have learnt to love and grow with passion. Our challenge consists also in the rediscovery of two different grapes for origin and vocation: Ciliegiolo and Merlot. What we are expecting from our mono-varietal is mirroring the tipicality of Montenero’s land into unique wines, enhancing the characteristics of each one.

This easy-to-drink fresh wine grows in the youngest plot of Sangiovese named Il Presone. A small addition of Merlot softens it making it suitable for everyday enjoyment.

Deep and intense ruby red, this wine has a fresh and fruity nose with cherry and mix berries aromas. Tannins are sweet and never aggressive, giving the wine great pleasantness and drinkability.

Intense ruby red with garnet reflections, with hints of cherry and ripe plum. Montecucco Sangiovese is rich in persistent but well-mixed tannins with a sapid and very long final.

Skin and apricot pink color with amber reflections, this wine has a fresh and fruity nose with hints of pink grapefruit and white peach. Its fine acidity in the mouth is balanced by the sapidity and minerality that resembles the flint stone.

This golden colored wine is made from Trebbiano, Malvasia and Ansonica grapes left to macerate. A long period of refinement makes it powerful but soft and with a notable persistence of spicy notes.

Brilliant medium purple color with violet reflections, crunchy and juicy with hints of ripe red fruit and spicy notes. Drinkability supported by an intense saline flavor.
